domain set up help

SOLVE

We have hit a wall during our migration process with domain setup. No one within our business is experienced in domain setups and verification. A vendor advised us to select website pages, blogs, emails, and landing pages when connecting our domain. However, HubSpot has now provided a temporary domain URL and is not allowing us to change this. I have discovered that connecting website pages means hosting our website on HubSpot, which we do not intend to do. We only plan to host landing pages and, in the future, blogs. We are unsure how to proceed with the temporary domain setup here. Please help.

domain set up help

SOLVE

Hey @AOgundiran7, happy Friday!

When connecting your domain to HubSpot, you don't need to host your entire website on HubSpot. You can select only the relevant options for landing pages and blogs, which should avoid hosting the entire site on HubSpot.

To fix the issue with the temporary domain, try disconnecting the current domain and reconnecting it, ensuring that only the necessary pages (like landing pages and blogs) are selected.

Let us know how it works.

Kindly,

Pam
