Hi, i want my domain's primary language to be French however when i first connected the domain i selected english and now i can't find how to change it. Ultimatelly i want my domain (thepoolster.com) to point to the french home page but today the URL of the french page is thepoolster.com/fr.
Hi @MattThePoolster I'm happy to help with getting your website domain language updated - there are two options, one requires support to make the change.
1 - contact support to change the primary language for a domain
To access language settings, you'll need to go to your Settings (widget icon in upper right navigation), then on the left, scroll down until you reach Content, expand that section and click Domains & URLs, then click the tab for Language Settings.
If you have a free plan and can't contact support, I can tag the community team here so they can help further.
2 - disconnect the domain and reconnect it, making sure to change the language in the prompt before completing the connection.
Since you already have the DNS records updated, this should be a fairly swift process with minimal down-time.
Once you have the language updated from English to French, to retain your website at the root domain, you'll want to make sure "use prefix in slug" is turned off in the settings above.
If my reply answered your question please mark it as a solution to make it easier for others to find.
