What configuration is best for Hubspot Landing Pages and external web hosting? (bluehost)
lösung
Hi!
What is the best configuration for the following scenario:
I have a hubspot landing page (used for lead magnet)
I have external web hosting (bluehost)
I want my hubspot landing page to appear as part of my website.
Should I use a subdomain and adjust those DNS settings accordingly?
Should I use a redirect and point to the Hubspot landing page?
I brought down my website (external to hubspot) by changing my advanced DNS settings for my rootdomain and I'm now correcting that. I'm looking for the easiest solution to make the URL of my hubspot landing page appear as part of my website.

Hi @mrmahood with your website on bluehost and your landing pages on HubSpot, the best option would be to use a subdomain for the landing pages.
This will look the most integrated with your website and it is the only option since your root domain can only be connected to one CMS (as you discovered, sorry you ran into that the hard way!)
There really isn't a way to create a redirect that won't negatively impact the user experience.
In the long run, if you want both on the same domain, I'd consider moving your website to HubSpot (CMS Hub is one of the best options available and having both in HubSpot drastically simplifies things).
Hope this helps!
