Website not working on mobile but is on desktop

My website was initially not loading on desktop or mobile - giving message 'This page is unavailable' on both. After unpublishing then publishing, my website did load on desktop but continued to get the same message on mobile. I then changed the theme thinking maybe the one I chose is not mobile friendly to a more widely used theme but the same problem occured. Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I also just ran in to this issue today. Chat support had me type out the entire url string including the https://www and it worked. He mentioned that this is the second time he heard of this today, and may be to either a hubspot or ios update that relates to routing websites and SSL certificates. He mentioned I should come here to seek additional assistance. So here I am! It will be very invonvenient if each time someone enters my url they will need to enter the entire string.

Hi @quinnmeyer ,

I can see your website both, on desktop and mobile. I am using and Android device. Do you have a iPhone perhaps? Also, do you see a blank screen or you see some of it, just not everything?

Thanks,
Eli

Website not working on mobile but is on desktop

If your website is not working on mobile devices but is on desktop, it could be due to a variety of reasons. One common cause is that the website is not optimized for mobile devices, meaning that the layout and functionality are not designed to work seamlessly on smaller screens. This could result in elements not displaying correctly or navigation being difficult on mobile devices.

As an example, let's say your website is selling the Nuwave Induction Cooktop  1800w. If the website is not optimized for mobile devices, potential customers who are browsing on their phones may have difficulty navigating to the product page, viewing product images, or adding the cooktop to their cart. This could result in lost sales and frustrated customers.

To resolve this issue, you may need to redesign your website to be responsive, meaning that it can adapt to different screen sizes and orientations. This can involve rethinking the layout, font sizes, and images to ensure that they are easy to view and interact with on smaller screens. You may also need to optimize load times and streamline the checkout process to make it as quick and easy as possible for mobile users.

Website not working on mobile but is on desktop

Hiya @AM16 ,

it's possible that it's a caching issue. I've had this a few times with Hubspot where I change something on the page, or unpublish it and it doesn't show the changes straight away. I'd suggest open a link on your mobile that has a query parameter. This way, the browser will make a brand new request and will propmpt the server to deliver the current version of that page.

For example, if your domain is www.hello.com then open on your mobile www.hello.com?something

I hope that helps,

Eli

This didn't work for me sadly. I've tried on several mobile devices.

Can you share the website URL, perhaps?
