Website form submissions - where do they go?

Hello,

Last week I had the tracking code embedded in our website.  Since then I've been receiving forms and contacts to my hubspot free account.  But I'm not seeing these leads entered into the CRM that our company uses.  I've been assuming the forms have gone to our employees in office as usual too.  Am I wrong in assuming this?  Has the website stopped sending those forms to our customer service reps, and started sendign it straight to Hubspot?

Hi @MitchellB, welcome to the Community!

If you're a HubSpot free user, these forms would be coming into the Collected Forms tool (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/articles/kcs_article/collected-forms/how-do-i-use-collected-forms). You'll also see the contacts created in-portal, under "Contacts".

It sounds like you're currently managing multiple HubSpot portals - is this correct? Form submissions will only go into the portal which you have used the tracking code for. If you have any other portals, these contacts will not appear in those portals (and the notifications will not go to the other users).

Can you send your email address you're using to log in to HubSpot? I can try and take a look at the accounts you are connected with.

For your email, it looks like you only have one HubSpot account. The only other user in this account is your colleague Natalie (https://app.hubspot.com/settings-beta/l/users). Both of you should be able to see the contacts here: https://app.hubspot.com/sales/l/contacts.

The thing I'm still wondering is:

Are the forms, once submitted on the website, still going to their original, pre-hubspot, destination?

Or are they now only being sent to hubspot & my email?

Hey @MitchellB! Thanks for that question.

With collected forms, HubSpot listens in for form submissions on your pages. They'll still going to their original, pre-hubspot, destination.

So the submission goes to its original destination + logged inside HubSpot.
