Updating the web site footer

SOLVE

Hello - I have a copyright and website footer at the bottom of each of my web pages. For some reason, I can't update the address information at the bottom, at least not easily. Am I missing something? I just want to add another office address to the bottom - please help

Updating the web site footer

SOLVE

Ahh, I see.
It seems like the footer is not added as a global group. To make the changes, kindly follow the below steps:

Step1: Navigate to Marketing > Files and Templates > Design Tools.
Step2: Once you open on the left sidebar, search for "templates" folder

Step3: Select the template you are using
Step4: Scroll and at the end you will find the "Footer module"

Step5: Once you click on there will be options to edit. Click on "more->Convert to global group"

Step6: Publish the changes

Now, go back to your website page/landing page and you will be able to make the global changes to the footer.

Feel free to reach out via email if you would like me to help you through the process over the call. I'd be happy to help. 🙂

Hey @CberryM ,

If you hover over the footer you will see a orange colored section.

Just click on it and then click on "Open in global content editor"

And then you will get "Edit module" option

Let me know if you still do not find the edit option.

Updating the web site footer

Hello Jigar - I'm afraid I do not get that option. Nothing happens when I hover over the footer whilst in EDIT Page mode. Clicking on Contents whilst in this mode shows a header, along with all sections but nothing for Footer in the tree on the left.

Clicking on theme says - "

 CMS Theme Boilerplate
This page is styled by your theme settings. Changing these settings may affect multiple pages on your site"

When I click Edit Theme settings - I can find a footer section, but this just changes color, font and size - not the content of the footer.

Hello @CberryM ,

To make the desired modifications, kindly access the webpage or landing page. Navigate to the footer, where you can effortlessly hover over the necessary component. Click on "Edit Module" that appears. A pop-up will emerge on the left-hand side, allowing you to input the new address.
