Showing up property in a card

SOLVE

In a card in contact overview 'property A' shows. I have a conditional logic where is a value from 'property A' is chosen then 'property B' would be showed to fill up. But after the 'property B' is filled up it doesn't shown in the card. I want this property to be shown in the card after filling it up not before it.

Any suggestions?

Showing up property in a card

@SMomo did you review the links I shared?

Please see the links in my previous reply, you would have to use the settings to customize the record to display the conditional fields. Just setting up the logic does not change what's displayed on the record. In the record customization options, you would have to add a card to the left sidebar that displays conditionally when the other field is filled out. It's currently not possible to have it automatically show up right below.

In other words, you need to make the configuration in two places. I've linked both instructions in my previous reply.

In any case, other users have requested better options before: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Conditional-fields-display/idi-p/874147/highlight/tru...

Showing up property in a card

SOLVE

Hi @SMomo,

To make sure we're talking about the same things, can you please share a screenshot of the card and a screenshot of your conditional settings?

There are different ways to set up conditional logic. If you want a field to show up on a record based on another field, then this has to be done in the record customization options: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/customize-records

Here, a refresh of the record page is required before a conditional section actually appears. It is not instantaneous.

If you set up conditional logic within properties, then you'll see a sidebar pop up based on the logic, but it will not show up on the card unless you have also customized the record (see above). This is the conditional property logic I'm referring to: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/set-up-conditional-logic-for-enumeration-properties

No refresh of the page is needed to fulfill the conditional requirements but the conditional field will not show automatically on the record either.

Best regards

And this the view from the card. After filling the 2 properties it should be shown in the card.
