Remove hover in blog listing module - Not a developer

I want to set up my blog listing page to have each blog show up as a featured image with the title and description underneath. Similar to what HubSpot does on their blog (New Marketing Jobs). The only option I'm finding is what came with the template, which is the featured image and then the title, author, description, etc. only shows up when you hover over the image (Announcing our first).  Can anyone share insights on how to change this?

@kvlschaefer @Jnix284 thank you for the replies! I feel a little silly now, but I ended up finding a different blog listing module in the master module list. Looks like I had two blog templates set up when HubSpot imported our website styles. They included two different versions of the blog listings, but I still can't do much to edit these templates without knowing how to code.

I'm getting closer to having the blog the way I want it. I used HubSpot about four years ago and remember these editors being a little different and more geared towards non-devs. I'm working my way through it though.

Thanks again!

You're welcome @Nat_Clarke, I'm glad you were able to find a template that works better for the layout you want.

Since it's been a while since you used HubSpot, it's probably worth checking out the CMS for Marketers certification - themes are designed to be marketer-friendly, hopefully this will help you get your bearings a little quicker!

Hi @Nat_Clarke,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Is there anything more that you can share about the module that you created? Did you have a developer create it or did you download it in the marketplace? It would be helpful to have some more information on the setup and which theme you are using to offer advice. Thank you 🙂

I also wanted to invite our subject matter experts to this conversation to see if they have insight.

Hi @Anton, @Teun, @Jnix284 - Do you have any advice for @Nat_Clarke?

Thank you!

Best,

Kristen

happy to help @kvlschaefer - definitely need a bit more info about the theme used, @Nat_Clarke some themes have settings within the blog listing template to use an overlay (like yours) with the option to change it to content below (like HubSpot's) but it really depends on the theme/developer where you'd find the option, if there is one.
