Remove footer from Buddy Theme Global Content

I cannot find where to remove the purple banner footer in the buddy theme. I dont need it there as I have that at the top.

Hi @WEasterling ,

When you click on page edit , then say if the hide and show toggle option is not provided, then you have to make the updates from the backend. Navigate to your theme folder and remove the footer.html file added at the bottom of the page.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to remove this part on the theme as it is a free theme. We are currently developing a paid version of the theme with much more functionalities including this one. The only thing you can do is editing the global content by clicking on it from a page edition, and remove the men but the Markentive mention will stay there.

If you really want to remove this tag, you can go into your design tools and clone the theme. From there, you will be able to edit each file including the footer.

Please note that if you do so, you will not be able to receive future updates for the theme as a cloned version will not be linked to the marketplace version of the theme.
