Problem with HubSpot slug in link from blog to website

SOLVE

Hi everybody,

I've found a similar topic but I would like to understand if this solution would fit also on my case.

We did a websiste restyling and we've created some redirect because the website tree structure changed.

Now the number of 404 pages in search console is increasing more and more and the majority of them has in the URL a slug starting with:

?__hstc=

followed by numbers.

With these slug the redirects don's work.

I've red that this is an HubSpot feature, useful for different domains and no for domains and subdomains. In my case the links are present in the subdomain (subdomain.mydomain dot com ) and they link to the main one (mydomain dot com ).

So, can I uncheck the "Automatic cross-domain linking" in the tracking code settings to solve this problem?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Erica

Of course!

I've modified the settings in the redirects in Wordpress so they can work with no problem also with UTM.
