Prevent Edit switch stuck - will not allow me to add to or change any templates
As you can see from the screenshot below, I have been directed to turn that off by tech support. However, I cannot interact with it at all (it's grayed out).
It will not allow me to turn it off. I have Super Admin Access and while on the phone with tech support they have only guided me to that button/switch.
How do I turn this off so I can actually use my templates and not have to create from scratch in the backend design every time? Is there some sort of backend code somewhere or a different place to change this setting?
Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Although I can't say for certain without the link to the design manager template, this option is typically grayed out when there is global content being used on a template. In this case, editing in pages editor would be locked.
