Hi, I want to trigger a CTA popup when a user clicks on a button on my website. I'm trying to use the CTA (Beta) feature, however, I'm running into a couple of setup roadblocks.
To trigger a CTA, the instructions say to choose a button on any page and choose 'CTA' in the 'Button Link' menu. However, I'm not seeing that as an option in the button module
I also tried to add a CTA Module, however, my CTA isn't showing up because "Popup CTAs can be added to pages using targeting or trigger on button click". The button click doesn't seem to be working, and I'm unsure what further direction is meant by "using targeting" in this specific instance.
If anyone can help provide direction on this issue that would be great.
I just wanted to post an update from the product team here:
This feature is supported in the default/common button module, but it seems this isn't the case across themes. Our product team is aware of this and working on an update.
Hey @MiaSrebrnjak thanks for following up! I'm not sure I follow with "This feature is supported in the default/common button module, but it seems this isn't the case across themes
When I create a CTA I'm told to use the button module within the page, however when I use the default HubSpot button module it doesn't show CTA as an option. Even non-customised modules and no theme (just a basic template) I still don't see CTA as an option to add this in. This doesn't seem related to custom modules.
