My website domain only works with /en-us/ at the end

Hello - Im having the same issue. Its forcing the /en-us extension in the path when i press "update" after making any changes to my page or site. pls advise!
My website domain only works with /en-us/ at the end

Hi @SBulfer I get a 404 error on the /en-us/blog version of the URL and am able to successfully visit your blog at the /blog URL. If you still can't access the page, you'll want to clear your cache - everything looks good to go!

" Go to settings(icon upper right)>Tools>Website>Domains & URLs. Click language settings and there's a toggle switch "Enable language specific redirects". It needs to be in the off position."
Can you try this step out and see if this resolves the page error?
Thank you,
Kristen

Hi @RMasonweb it sounds like you might've already turned off the language specific redirects - it's most likely that you have the "Use Prefix in Slug" selected.
This settings is in the same place that @kvlschaefer indicated, "Go to settings(icon upper right)>Tools>Website>Domains & URLs. Click language settings"
Except it's not going to be the toggle switch at the top, you'll see a list of your domains below with the language settings - this is where you've set the Ireland - English preference and there is a toggle at the far right that you'll need to turn off.
Your domains would be listed below this heading in the table, each domain will have a toggle on the right to determine if the it should be included.
The "ie-en" is called a language slug or prefix and this toggle determines whether it should show or not. It is typically used on multi-language sites.

@JRamsay0 the reason turning language redirects "on" instead of "off" worked for you was that it prompted the server to recognize the changes you made to the pages that are published to the domain and clear the server cache. There are pros/cons to language redirects, they really aren't needed if your website is in only one language, especially English.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and for including these details!
It's my understanding that you would like to view your webpage with the domain ending in .ie instead of the .ie/en-us/.
Would you be able to share the URL to your website with the Community post? Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end? Are you seeing a particular error message? The more information you can include on your website and examples, the better the community can assist with guidance on next steps. Thank you!
Best,
Kristen
