Moving a Blog within an existing Hubspot account

SOLVE

Hello,

We have an existing blog using the top level subdomain. Can the existing blog be moved and a new blog be created using the top level subdomain?
For example:
blog.example.com/
to
blog.example.com/oldblog
I can see in the blog settings how easy it looks like it would be to update the url, but I want to ensure there won’t be issues.

Hi @Corpcom

This should work since you are completely moving the first blog to a new subfolder location. However, HubSpot should automatically create a wildcard redirect rule from the root folder to the new blog subfolder. This may mess with your new blog so you should review the settings to make sure new posts resolve properly - by checking ignore if page exists are requested URL for example.

Hope this helps.
