Linking rich text to rich text on the same page

I am trying to link specific words to areas of rich text in other areas of the same landing page so the user does not need to scroll to find the relevant information within a page. I have been playing around with anchors and following every direction I can find and I can not seem to achieve this. Help!

An anchor link is basically a standard html link pointing to and ID elsewhere in the page. 

HubSpot now has the tools for creating these built right into its editor - have you been using those?

Hi Phil,

I did follow this guide and am still having issues. The anchors don't end up taking me elsewhere on the page and either have no destination or take me to an error page. I don't know what I am missing...
