Issue Header Background Color

lösung

Hi HubSpot Community,
I'm using the "Interactive" theme for my website, and I'm encountering an issue with changing the background color of the header. The default color is black, and no matter which color I select in the theme settings, the background remains black. I've tried selecting different colors (none of them work), clearing the cache, and even deleting and recreating the header, but the problem persists.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with the "Interactive" theme? Is there a workaround or a specific setting I might be missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

@JessieS thanks for mentioning

Hi @TMeza,

If you share your page and tell us wich color you have setup or try to setup, perhaps we can see where it goes wrong. @JessieS is mentioning a few options to overwrite the default. If you want to apply the changes by default for that module but you don't want to create a child theme, you can also overwrite it as a default in the website settings inside pages -> Templates and add it as a "Site header HTML".

Did you also try to setup the background color inside the section as an option underneed the background property?

Issue Header Background Color

lösung

Hi @TMeza!

Good morning! From my understanding, you've downloaded the "Interactive" theme from the HubSpot Template Marketplace and you're having trouble changing the header's background color from the default, black, to any other color, right?

Given this is a custom theme, I would recommend contacting the theme creator Drive Web Studio at support@driveagency.co to see if there's a way to add more flexibility in the background color options.

You can try specifying the background color for a given module/section via CSS in your design manager in the source code of the page: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Blog-Website-Page-Publishing/Global-header-Blog-background-color-ch...

If the theme/template are read-only, you may need to create a child theme to edit it on your own and work with a designer on altering the background color of the template/global header module if it needs to be something specific. This goes over editing global content

You can peruse our solutions directory for custom design help
or if you needed to work with a technical consultant after getting input Drive Web Studio to walk you through a plan to technically implement, let us know or inquire about options with support or your account manager.

I'm also looping in some design experts in case they have further insight! @Indra
@EmmaAtKiwi, any thoughts beyond the above to change the header color for a custom marketplace theme?

Thank you and have a great day and weekend!

Best,
Jessie
