I want to point my domain name to a web page I've built.
SOLVE
This question has completely stumped 2 different HS support agents, but it seems like basic HS functionality? I'm not sure what the disconnect has been.
I've built a webpage on HubSpot.
I want to point mycompanydomain.com to this page so that it's our company home page (temporarily). We need the HubSpot server IPs to do this - or at least some documentation about how to point a domain to a specific HubSpot web page, which I want to be our home page. Is there documentation for this? Thank you.
Please note that once you connect your domain to HubSpot, if will stop functioning entirely on any previous platforms. Meaning, if you had a website built on another system, all of the pages will be disconnected from there and only work on HubSpot.
Also, if you choose to connect your domain with the "www" subdomain, then you will not get IP addresses, but a different DNS record to connect instead.
If you currently do not have any domains connected to HubSpot, connecting your main domain initially should automatically make your homepage load on the connected domain.
Happy to clarify or answer any other questions about this!
