I cant get my 404 fixed

Hi,

I cant get my site clickandcount.se live, I get a 404 no matter what I have tried. I have read all 400 trix here in the community and tried my best but i doesnt work. I have deleted the DNS-connection and added again but same problem. My DNS-provider says everything looks OK at their side.

Please help me....

I cant get my 404 fixed

Hi @ELundkvist,
I understand how frustrating that can be. A consistent 404 error usually points to one of these common issues:

  1. DNS Propagation Delay – After updating DNS settings, it can take up to 24–48 hours to fully propagate.

  2. Incorrect A or CNAME Records – Double-check if your domain is pointing to the correct IP address or host.

  3. Web Hosting Misconfiguration – Ensure your site files are uploaded to the correct public directory (like /public_html or /www).

  4. Missing Index File – Make sure there’s an index.html or index.php file in your root folder.

  5. Platform Settings – If you're using a CMS like WordPress, check the site URL settings in the admin panel.

If you’re using a custom hosting panel or a builder platform, it might help to contact their support directly with these points.

I cant get my 404 fixed

Hi @ELundkvist,

Check out this thread from the other day: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Blog-Website-Page-Publishing/Custom-Domain-Not-Working-Despite-Corr...

This seems very similar to the issue you are experiencing.
