How to auto-populate field based on lead form completed?

Hello All, 

My company currently offers services but we are launching a mobile app soon. Prior to launch of the mobile app we will create a landing page that collects names and emails of prospects that would like to be notified when the mobile app is launched. We use Squarespace as our website builder, are happy with their form designs and function, so we will continue to use the non-Hubspot form integration to convey prospect details from the website form fill to auto-create a record in the Hubspot CRM.

I would like to setup some additional automation that when a prospect fills out the "sign me up for the mobile app" form, this will auto-fill a "Prospect Category" field that in Hubspot labels them as a mobile app prospect. This will enable me to quickly search and identify all of these prospects and add them to an email sequence later when we launch the mobile app. Is there a code snippet or anything that will help me communicate to Hubspot that this Prospect Category field needs to be assigned a specific value when certain webpage forms are completed by prospects? There must be a way to automate product interest in Hubspot based on a form fill... fingers crossed.

Hi @LuvHS,

This is possible if your landing page is hosted on HubSpot, as you can fetch the contact's property values via hubL. Since your landing page is hosted on Squarespace, I don't think there is a workaround.
