How to add custom HTML to Blog article’s <header>

SOLVE
What: I can’t find a way to add custom html to blog articles.

Why? I want to use HRFELNG tags in our blog, to help connect it better with our other blog languages (we post in 4 hubspot blog’s, same content in different languages).

Extra info:
In landing pages, I can go to the landing page’s settings -> advanced options and add code to that specific page’s html header.

Any ideas?

Hi @erikblues

From your blog screen in HubSpot select More Tools > Blog Settings as shown here:

Blog HubSpot (1).png

Then, on the Templates tab, you can added header code to your blog listing and post templates.

Hope this helps.

Hello @Phil_Vallender , thanks for the reply!

Unfortunately, your sollution will add a code to ALL blog pages.

I only wan't to add a code to one specific blog article, and not have it in any other blog article.

I need this for hreflang tags, which are specific for each different content:

Hi @erikblues

Ah - that's not supported/possible currently.

I had hoped that because you said you post in different languages to different blogs, you would want the same hreflang tag in the header for all posts in one blog.

To confirm, you can switch between blogs in the settings area and set the header HTML differently for each.

At least, I think that's how it works.

Yeah, you got my hopes up there for a second @Phil_Vallender  😛

Unfortunately, I need a separate code for each article.

Using hreflang tags, I can tell google that 2 pages have the same content in different languages, and google will better know what to serve people from each region/language.

Hubspot does that out of the box for landing pages and website pages through the "create translation" option. But the forum does not have this feature yet, unfortunately.
