How can I change my URL to not include en-gb?

I have found a similar question for en-us URLs and followed all of the steps. I have toggled off the language settings for each page, as well as changing my blog page URL. However my homepage is still showing with en-gb. 
I have attached some screenshots. Please can someone help as I'm not sure what else I can do.

Hey @MHollis 

• If language prefixes are still appearing, manually check the URLs for the homepage and other pages.
• Remove any unnecessary language prefixes from the URLs if they persist.
• Clear your browser cache and refresh the page to see if the changes take effect.

Hi @Gaurav_Aggarwal I have tried all of this but it is still not working. My primary language is set to English for all of my pages, and doesn't even give a drop down option to change anything. I have created my site in English. So I don't know why it then adds the en-gb.
