However, I'm of the opinion that local business directories can still make a huge difference (especially for businesses that rely on 'near me' searches or voice search queries, businesses like restaurants, clinics, home service businesses, businesses in hospitality, etc.)
I believe businesses should look to feature in industry-specific directories for local SEO success. Some glowing reviews on these listings can go a long way in building a significant and loyal customer base. Especially if one is targeting a niche audience.
