@Alex_Elborn thanks for the additional details - basically, "Discovered - currently not indexed" means that they know your pages exist, have deemed them to be of lesser importance than other requests and they're in a queue to be indexed...
I don't have any published documentation about this, but having worked on really large accounts and small accounts - websites with the highest domain authority never have to wait to have their pages indexed, while newer websites tend to take a lot longer (sometimes even months).
The good news is that some of your blogs are indexed and there aren't errors, they just haven't gotten to it yet.

It's been at least a week since submitting the sitemap and there's no errors against that. The message I'm getting back from Google is Discovered – currently not indexed. I've looked at their documentation on this and it's not particularly helpful
