Disconnecting the primary domain just for podcasts

Hi 👋

We used a 14-day free trial of Content Hub Pro. During this period we connected our primary domain. I got connected for all content types, including podcasts.

Now that the trail has ended, we got notified that our primary domain will get disconnected in 80+ days.

What should I do to disconnect the primary domain just for podcasts and keep it for the remaining content type. The alert I get when I try to disconnect the domain sound like the action will impact all content types. And I don't want our website (created in Hubspot CMS) to go down.

Hi @P_Banaszak,

Domains in HubSpot are managed at the account level, not per content type. So, if you disconnect the primary domain, it could impact everything it's connected to, including your website. 

If both your website and podcast are on the same domain (like example.com), you might want to shift podcasts to a separate subdomain (like podcast.example.com). But this would require some setup changes.

Since disconnecting a domain is a big deal, I’d definitely recommend checking with HubSpot Support before making any changes. They can confirm what will actually happen and suggest the best way forward.
