Deleting objects on a web page template

I dont have enough content to fill a full webpage (Wasabi template) so wanted to remove some of the "objects" to shorten the length. Leaving objects/content placeholders empty doesnt work as it still leaves signs content should be there. I would like there to be no gap between the last content object and the page footer.
