I am setting up my website on Hubspot. I've pointed my Namecheap host records to the 2 IP addresses provided in the Hubspot setup instructions. Now when I go to load the website, I get this error
No, unfortunately. I also asked Cloudflare's support for help, and they directed me to the cloudflare community (as I'm not a paid member). And the community wasn't very helpful. Ended up just using a different website hosting services. Pretty poor experience with Hubspot here
I wanted to share Cloudflare's documentation on this error and two snippets regarding the cause of this error and the proposed solution from Cloudflare:
Common cause: Customers who previously pointed their domains to1.1.1.1will now encounter 1034 error. This is due to a new edge validation check in Cloudflare's systems to prevent misconfiguration and/or potential abuse.
Resolution: Ensure DNS records are pointed to IP addresses you control, and in the case a placeholder IP address is needed for “originless” setups, use the IPv6 reserved address 100:: or the IPv4 reserved address 192.0.2.0.
If the linked article from Cloudflare doesn't resolve this error, I would recommend reaching out to Cloudflare directly as this error is coming from their end. You can reach out to them at their community or help center. They should be able to assist 🙂
Thanks, I just posted on their community. Yes I saw that in the documentation but it's confusing as my host records are pointed to Hubspot's provided IP addresses
