Clone Theme
SOLVENov 12, 2020 11:50 AM
Hi.
When I go to edit the theme, it says I have to clone the theme to edit it. So when I clone it and make changes, it doesn't update the html page....it still uses the orginal theme. How do I connect the clone theme to my page?

Hi @Handemmet
In the page editor you need to go to settings->advanced options->use different template and then choose your new cloned template: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/cos-general/how-do-i-edit-my-blog-email-page-template. If you wanted your template changes to apply to all pages using your original template you would choose "Edit this template" instead.
Be aware that if you have removed modules or sections from your edited template it might remove content from the page you are working on so make sure to save that content somewhere.
If you find new template changes aren't applying to you existing page take a look at this article: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/cos-general/i-updated-a-module-content-on-my-template-why-are-the-chan...
