Changing a theme after a previous one has been installed

hi,

I've published a landing page using a theme but I would like to change the theme for a new landing page that I'm building. Does anyone know if my current landing page will be affected if I switched to a new theme to build a new landing page? ie will the current page take on the new theme?

Hello @AliPlat, the answer is no, it will not affect the live page unless you publish the updates done with the new theme. I've just tested it on one of my accounts and the live page is not affected.

Just be aware that modules will probably not match and you will have to re-do the whole page, so maybe the best is to start a new page from zero, then unpublish the "old" one and inmediately publish the new page using the same URL (you might need to update the URL of the "old" page before publishing the new one or HubSpot will give you an error with the page path already existing).

Thanks! I think my question was unclear; I'm looking to build a separate brand new landing page but have an existing landing page using Hatch theme. However, I'm looking to build a new page using a new theme so was wondering if using a new theme for my new page will affect the current landing page?

@AliPlat you can totally do that, no problem at all! When creating a new landing page you will always be asked to choose the Theme and it doesn't have to be the same as the rest of landing pages 🙂
