It looks like if you clear all your cache and local storage on chrome or firefox, when you log in the sprocket will no longer appear. I think this might actually be an issue with the latest updates to chrome and firefox. They’ve added privacy features https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/chrome/privacy-on-the-web I think this is causing similar issues to the extensions mentioned above

I had the same issue, so I checked my extensions. I noticed I was running a privacy extension (DuckDuckGo), which I learned affected all browsing, not just searches on DuckDuckGo. After turning it off, the sprocket reappeared. Hope this helps others.
Could you make sure you have the sales extension associated with the correct HubID? I can see you have access to our Technical Support team as you have a paid subscription, I would advise you to call our amazing team and they would be able to do a screen share with you and identify what is the issue.
Thanks
Sharon

The same for me. It has been gone for the past weeks. For a minute it was back after i logged out of Chrome and logged back in, but disappeared short after.. This is really anoying....
Hello from 2021. Had the same issue. Disabled that thingy you schreenshotted @anders_grove, and the sprocket is back. Have no idea what I just disabled, but I need that sprocket. 😳
I hope Dev at Hubspot is taking note of the change! Would be a nightmare if this happened to everyone once it goes live in Feb 2020.
Solution: You can disasble this feature in chrome(but I wouldn't): https://i.imgur.com/5mcAhzV.png or you can download and install the stable release chrome version.
We are having the same issue, it seems to be specific to Windows users and on Chrome. You usually see the sprocket on client pages when you are logged into Hubspot, now this does not show on any of their pages. However, the Mac users can see the sprocket in Chrome.
