We are getting notifications about a company in China visiting our hubspot hosted website. We get an email for every single page that they visit. Apparently we cannot exclude a country from getting to our website (like we could if we hosted it ourselves). Does anybody else have this problem. I was told to turn off website visit notifications, but I want these, however I do not want 50 emails within one min when this particular company crawls every page on our website every single day. I was also told we cannot black list anyone either? Seems a bit restrictive and not very secure?
Migrating your hosting seems like a big step if you could solve this with an integration, as shown above. I understand that you're expecting more from HubSpot but there is an entire ecosystem of apps to solve for issues that can't be done natively. I'd evaluate and rate options (change CMS, install integration) before making a change.
Hope I could help!

You're correct, the notification setting don't get as granular to limit them to certain countries.
If you're fine with excluding entire countries from accessing your website to avoid these notifications, you would have to work with a geo blocking tool, such as Geo Targetly: https://geotargetly.com/
Hi @karstenkoehler I tried Geo targetly to exclude a country but that doesn't work. I chat with the support but can't find out what going wrong with the code. I added on the first line and asked me to put higher... If you have an other options, please let me know. Thank you.
Thank you for the information, i will take a look. The more we find out the more I think we should just host the site ourselves as we have little control around the security. I told hubspot this company in china was scraping our website (every single page) at the same time every day, we then get a notificaion for every single page they visit (that is a lot of emails) the option is to turn off the email notification which is a global setting. I would have liked Hubspot to offer GEO blocking, or url blocking at least. They offer IP based, but this company would have millions of IPs as it is a Chinese telecom company and it is most likely a hacker using them as an ISP.
