I have a calculating property with a formula. The problem is that I am using 2 properties in the formula. And those 2 property values are assigned through a workflow. Maybe the calculation property works first before the workflow can assign values to those 2 properties as a result no calculation shows. What can be done to solve this?
Hard to say without seeing the formula itself – can you please share a screenshot of the formula? Please also provide the values that are within the two properties.
Time should not be an issue here, calculations are rechecked again and again so the moment the information is available.
A common mistake in calculation properties is that calculations won't work if one of the values is unknown. Unless you're including an if statement for the fact that one of the two properties might be empty, it will not calculate a result.
Once you share more details, I can elaborate.
Best regards
