Blogs Authors social media URL's issue

Hi there, Ive been trying to figure this one out. 

When we create a blog, the authors links to his social media pages on his profile are not redirected correctly. 

They get redirected to our whole domain followed by the url to his social media account. When clicking on the the  authors linkedin icon/link, it looks like this

https://www.ourdomain.com/en-gb/our-blog/www.linkedin.com/in/our-author

Is there a way to change this in the settings or on the template?

Have you double-checked these steps to make sure you are putting the correct URL of the social account when editing the author's profile?

Hi, the authors details are correct, its the link thats the problem, please see the attached image.

This what you get when you hover over the authors Linkedin Icon, and clicking it on it sends you to that URL rather than sending you to his linkeding landing page.

Thanks for getting back to me, 

When you are editing your Blog Author profile, have you made sure to include the 

https:// 

query before your LinkedIn URL? 

I know it sounds like a small detail, but URL should be: 

https://www.linkedin.com/in/example/

And should not be like this: 

www.linkedin.com/in/example/
