Blog subscribe box form - how to make it less obtrusive

I created a blog see here: https://canadiancybersecuritynetwork.com/cybervoices for our community but as I am using a template for our website, the blog template only gives me the option to put my subscribe box in this linear way. I have shrunk everything around it as small as i can and reduced margins and padding but it is so big. I want to make it less obtrusive. 

Am I simply limited by the template or do I actually have to hire someone to do some css to make it right. 

Any other thoughts or options I want a cleaner look. We are about to do a full logo and rebranding so it might make sense to do more as we move forward. Thank you.

@CCN you mentioned your theme is Studio Launchpad, when I inspect the code for the blog link you provided it is showing Growth theme - can you confirm you updated your blog settings to select your theme's templates?

HubSpot Settings > Content > Blog - click Templates tab:

Once you update the templates to your website theme, you should find more options available in the theme and more flexibility to customize.

The listing page should also be drag and drop, so you can create your own subscription form using a form module and style how you'd like.

Please check if your template allows for advanced customization options within HubSpot's design manager. Sometimes, templates offer more flexibility than initially apparent, and you might be able to adjust the subscribe box layout using built-in tools.

Thank you. I have tried and tried but no avenue seems to be found. Same with accessing author detail. Can only make their picture visible and make their articles come together when clicked, no other data.

My theme is currently Studio Launchpad.

You were right about the theme. I thought when I set my website it would select the same theme for the blog. It gave me a few more options to make it a bit smaller but I cannot figure out anything beyond that, but it is an improvement.

Hi @CCN I'm still seeing the old format, even with clear cache - can you confirm you've published the updated listing page with the new theme?

You are correct. Saved it and the template is very different but now the header menu dissapears as it is white on white, lol...does not seem editable.

@CCN if you want to change it back to the original theme (growth) for now to resolve the header, I'd be happy to jump on a zoom with you to check out what settings are available in the theme and add some CSS to get everything working a bit better if you like this layout better.
