Hey! My company is using a custom-made (Act21) template. It was made a few years before I started by a contractor. I've noticed in the last couple of months, on our blog listing page, what used to show the "campaign" (IE, the broad topic of the blog), now shows the "tags" of the blog. This means it's selecting from the list of more broad tags (not the specific topic).
I've dug into the code and found exactly where the problem is, but I'm not sure how to correct it.
So, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to have the "Campaign" be what shows up on the blog listing page / what needs to be in the container / what needs to be adjusted?
I hope this makes sense, let me know if you have any tips!
I'm a little uncertain what the issue is and what you try to achieve? To me, it sounds like the labeling on the front end is broken. So when you label/categorize a blogpost with the tag "campaign", the label wont show up on the website. Is that correct?
Hey Sjardo! Yes, that's correct! Here are some screenshots to give a visual aid.
Blog listing page:
The "Site Selection Group" is listed where I'd like the "Campaign" category to be. Instead, it's pulling from the list of tags.
Here is a screenshot of the blog settings:
I'm not sure how to get the "Campaign" to be what's being listed. I believe before a month or so ago, it was properly pulling from the Campaign category. Now, it's pulling from the tags. I tried reordering the tags to get the campaign keyword to show up, but it doesn't always work.
Let me know if you have any tips! Thank you (and thanks, @PamCotton)!
Thank you for sharing screenshots about it. Currently
With tags, you can manage yourblog postsby subject. Once you've added tags to your posts, you can customize your templates tolink to a feedof all posts by tag. You can also add apost filter moduleso visitors can filter posts by tag.
