Best Tips for Integrating a WordPress Blog with Hubspot

How do you integrate a WordPress blog into Hubspot for blog analytics?

Do you need a WordPress plugin? or what additional function does this offer if available?

Or is it simply an integration of WordPress into Hubspot to report on blog post analytics?

Thanks for your insights as we are planning a class project.

Hi @MPellett,

With the plugin, the HubSpot tracking code is automatically added to your WordPress pages, and you can access many of HubSpot's tools directly from your WordPress account. You can get a good idea of what that direct access looks like on the plugin page, scroll down to screenshots. Those would be the main benefits of using the plugin.

Without it, you would have to install the HubSpot tracking code manually.

You can track the WordPress site all the analytics in hubspot with the help of hubspot tracking code.

Hello, I understand from @karstenkoehler that there are two methods:

Note, if you are on wordpress.com you need the Business Plan (supports plugins) in either option.

1. To track your wordpress site analytics in Hubspot - you need to install the Hubspot tracking code on a WordPress site https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/install-the-hubspot-tracking-code.

OR

2. To track analytics AND enable CRM, Forms, Email, Chat and other features on your Wordpress site - you can install the Hubspot WordPress Plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/leadin/.

Hey @karstenkoehler is there a way to then see the data metrics? I was using blog from hubspot then move to wordpress and added the tracking. I don't know how to get the data from the blog now that it's on wordpress. is that possible? any tips?
