Do you know if it is possible to get the exact date when a contact turned into a marketing contact? 🤔 I imagine a property like 'Became a marketing contact date'.
We would like to use this information either in a report or a list. If you can share the step by step (or workaround), it would be amazing!!! 💛
It all started when we checked if the contacts that filled out a form had subscribed or not. HS support told us that the submissions report didn't show this information, so the suggestion was to create a list. We did so, however the most similar property that we found was ' Became a Subscriber Date ', and it was empty 😓 so we are looking for a workaround.
Once you create 'Became a marketing contact date' custom property, you can import the date from the property history into the custom date property.
If you have workflows, you can automate this process going forward. Enroll contacts into a workflow when a contact is a marketing contact, then set the date property value to the date of the step. Historically, you would also have to export the property history and import it into a date property. Going forward, it would maintain automatically. (When turning on the workflow, make sure to only enroll contacts who meet the criteria after the workflow is turned on. Also consider enabling re-enrollment if you want the date to be refreshed when a contact becomes a non-marketing contact and then marketing contact again.)
Without a Professional subscription and access to contact-based workflows, this cannot be automated.
