Auto email sent after updating landing page

Hi - I have just updated a landing page that I use as a regitration page for a free event that I hold.

I just updated the landing page to change the date of the event, as I run the same event multiple times per year, and therefore use the same landing page, just change the date. 

I did that no problem, but then noticed, by chance, a marketing email had been sent out to a few of my contacts.

So now they have all had an email saying thanks for registering for this event, even though they hadn't registered for the event.

Does anyone know how this has happened so I can stop it happening again please.

Hi @RSmith81 , 

Could you let me know if you're using the same form for this event that you used for previous events? I believe that if you have, there is an automated email attached to the form, and based on the update it triggered the automation.
