Are Product Pages Treated As Website Pages?

SOLVE

We make a distinction between website pages, landing pages, and blog posts -- I get it, these three are different. But, what about product pages -- are they considered website pages?

The reason I ask is that on HubSpot, there are usually three tabs under Website, namely: Website pages, Landing pages, and Blog. My question is: under which tab do I put my product pages? Should they be under "Website pages"?

Currently, my developer put them all under Blog, which I feel is incorrect.

Let me know.

Hi @GeraldC,

If these product pages are static, meaning you aren't using an eCommerce platform such as Shopify or WooCommerce, I would make these website pages, not blog posts or landing pages.

Another alternative is to use HubDB to store the product information and load as dynamic website pages. In my opinion, this is a better approach. Here's a great article from SmartBug on the topic. Here is more documentation from HubSpot on creating HubDB tables.

I hope this helps!
