Re: A Tale of Two Sites

Hello,

Ive fallen foul of the classsic .com/en-gb/ suffix quandry.

But whats more bewildering is that I seem to have 2 sites.  One with the correct domain but no content.  And one with the /en-gb/ suffix with all my content.

Obviosuly, I want the correct domain name (www.lovepropertyfunding.com) to have all my content.

But my content only shows up on the www.lovepropertyfunding.com/en-gb/ site.

A infuriatingly simple problem.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sean

Hello @SRobertson11 and thanks for the tag @Victor_Becerra !

In order to avoid having the languae added to the slug for your pages you need to make sure your default language for your HubSpot account is set correctly.  Go to Settings > Content > Domains & URL's > Language Settings and choose the appropriate language.

Hope this helps!

Hi @SRobertson11,

The /en-gb/ is not a separate site; it is a multi-language prefix/path.

Please double-check your domain's primary language. If it is indeed to be set to /en-gb/, ensure that the language prefix option is disabled so your pages load from the root instead of the language prefix.

If the prefix option is already disabled, you may have published your content under the /en-bg/ language. In that case, you will need to switch it back to your primary language.

Glad I could help.

Hi @SRobertson11 -

I, on the other hand, do not have the /en-gb/ when I test.

I would suggest clearing your browser cache and trying again, or trying in an incognito window.

Thanks - was there any content when you tested site? Or was it all Loren Ipsum….

As I too can see the website without the slug but it just didn’t have the content on it. But the site with gb slug did have the content..
