[Public Beta] Data Panel with associated record data in workflows Question

Hey! I am absolutely loving this beta so far. I'm trying to get clarification on how the features work when combined with delays or other situations that might alter which record is "most recent" - is this determined at the point of workflow enrolment, or at the point of each action? I.e. if a workflow starts based off one one associated record, hits a delay, continues and a different record has been edited, are the values still from the originally accessed associated record, or the one that now meets the criteria?
