Lead Scoring Beta

Some feedback regarding the lead scoring beta. A couple of issues I've come across while trialing it:

- Implementing time constraints on new scoring: It would be extremely helpful to implement some type of time parameters on the scoring models. For example, when we add different "Contact Us" forms to the model, it retroactively scores everyone who has ever filled out one of the forms. I only want it to start scoring from the time I turn on the model. Using "Decay" at 100% after 1 month was a suggested solution, but it doesn't solve for the use case completely. Additionally, creating an exclusion list for the model doesn't solve for it. For example, if I create an exclusion list to add to my model (ie: an Active list with filters "Filled out any form on any page before 08/22/24") it will never score them again if they do fill out a form in the future, which isn't what I want. I would want the above to be able to be added not just to each "Event Group" in the scoring model, but to each idividual score itself. We use forms for content downloads as well, which I may want different timing parameters on.

- It would be nice to have the ability to add exclusions lists, etc. to each "Event" within the same scoring model, and even more granular than that, each score itself within the same "Event Group"

- Testing: there is currently no way to test the lead scoring model before turning it on. Hope this will be a feature when the beta is pushed to production.

Is it possible to add more properties to the filters here? We have two business units using Hubspot and I'd like to include a property on the Email Object for 'Business Unit' so that each BU can have its own lead score.

This could also be achieved using a 'Contains' logic for the Email Name, which doesn't appear to be available at the moment.

Some feedback on the lead scoring beta

  • Allow the property to be reused instead of having to create several new
  • Allow the ability to copy "HubSpot Score" to the newly created score property

Lead Scoring Beta

Hi, I am creating an "engagement" score, and we have events (webinars and in-person) that our users can attend.

We keep track of who attended with a custom property (checkboxes). I would like to use suers engagement with these events (attended).

Engagement type scores do not allow me to select a custom property, therefore I can not track user engagement with my events.

Can we get custom fields allowed in the "engagement" type of score?

Thank you

I can get scored for URL paths to blog pages utilizing URL Path contains, but when I try to do the same for a hosted document, it isn't working. URL Path -> contains -> [any variation of part or all of the path for the hosted document's URL does not work]

I have a subdomain (blog.fredheim.org) and the normal domain (www.fredheim.org & fredheim.org redirected to www.fredheim.org) and other domains too. I have test users who have visited both a blog subdomain and the normal domain (fredheim homepage and various other pages). In HubSpot, it says that these pages have the www in front of them as their overal URL path. The users do score if I don't qualify the page view in any way.

However, I want to score differently based on whether or not a user has been to the blog subdomain or the other pages fredheim pages. Due to having other domains in the account, I can't use the "is not" or "does not contain" options since the current Scoring App doesn't have AND/OR logic. So saying does not contain blog.fredheim.org includes fredheim.org pages and other domain pages (which I don't want any score for the other domain page views).

I can get scoring for the blog subdomain by Page visited -> Base URL -> contains any of -> blog.fredheim.org

Unfortunately, I cannot get any scoring for the normal domain if I attempt to include the www in the parameters. Utilizing only fredheim.org will incude the blog. I've tried the following combinations without any score being granted:

Base URL -> starts with URL Domain -> starts with
Base URL -> contains URL Domain -> contains
Base URL -> is equal to URL Domain -> is equal to

paired with:

https://www.fredheim.org
https://www.fredheim
www.fredheim.org
www.fredheim
www

I can't find anything similar to (# of sessions), but I think that is very logical in a lead scoring system. Could someone point me in the right direction, or upvote if it is indeed missing?

I created a test and deleted it. In that process, I now have a property I've named (and would like to reuse the name), but it was archived. Next, when making a new Score, I cannot use the same property as the archived one. Even after restoring the property, you can't select an older score property when creating a new score. You can only customize the internal name to something other than one in use or archived. Thus I now have a useless Score property in my databaase with the name I'd like because I'm neurotic like that 😛
