Hi HubSpot Community,
My name is Anissa and I'm a Product Marketing Manager here at HubSpot! I am hosting this AMA to answer your questions about leveraging HubSpot’s platform for marketing success. Our HubSpot product experts are here to answer any tech-related questions you may have, but you can also ask anything about strategy, content creation, and lead generation. We will be answering questions through the end of the week.
Our AMA will be open for questions from Monday, January 27th to Friday, January 31st. Drop your questions regarding HubSpot for Marketers in this thread and we'll answer them!
Need some suggestions for what to ask? Here are some example questions:
How can I use HubSpot to create and manage content for multiple channels efficiently?
Can you explain how to set up and optimize lead scoring in HubSpot to identify high-quality leads?
What are the best practices for using AI messaging insights to craft personalized emails?
Can you please provide more context on your HubSpot journey? Are you just getting started with HubSpot, or are you interested in learning more about getting started with Marketing Hub and Content Hub?
The more details you can provide on your goals and use case, the better the community can assist.
Thanks!
Kristen

Hi HubSpot Community,
My name is Karim Mehouri, and I specialize in telecom and IT, focusing on B2B sales strategy. I’m currently finalizing my MBA while developing my consulting offer to help businesses optimize their sales processes and prospecting efforts.
Indeed - it is a great questions :
What are the best practices for using AI messaging insights to craft personalized emails?
[Closed] AMA [Ask Me Anything]: HubSpot for Marketers | January 27-January 31
Hi Karim! You can use AI in many different ways to craft personalized emails! Here are a few of my favorites:
Using smart content to make your emails more relevant and effective. Try using these tools to help gather more detailed information about your contacts and tailor your emails accordingly.
Levarging drag and drop tools to maintain brand consistency and analyze email performance using analytics to understand what's best.
Automate your tasks like welcome emails or follow up sequences. For example, you could send an email to your website visitors based on a page visited.
I hope this helps as you continue to explore HubSpot!

Recently upgraded to Content Hub Professional (as of yesterday) because of the new Case Studies feature. We have a Wordpress website but I'm building blog, landing pages, and case studies in HubSpot.
What are the most beneficial aspects of Content Hub Pro that I should start making right away. AND do you know if there is a way to put case studies into private content or in a customer portal? (I'm trying to use case studies slightly differently than the norm).
[Closed] AMA [Ask Me Anything]: HubSpot for Marketers | January 27-January 31
Hi @DDAngelillo ! Case studies are still relatively new, so they don't yet support memberships or content embeds. That being said, I would love to learn more about your use case for this!
To answer your second question about the most beneficial aspects of Content Hub Pro to make use of right away: you mentioned you are already building blogs, landing pages, and case studies in HubSpot, so I will focus on tools to help you optimize your productivity and get the most mileage out of those content types.
1. Content agent- Content agent is a CH Pro feature that allows you to use AI to co-author landing pages, case studies, and blog posts (and podcasts, if you're interested in trying out a new content type!) Content agent can help you scale your content production of those content types and create first drafts for you to build on. 2. Content remix- Content remix allows you to take existing content and repurpose it into other content formats using AI! This allows you to get more mileage from your content (for example, you can turn a blog post into several social posts, emails, and more!) As of INBOUND, we introduced a brand new video remixing editor that allows you to cut and repurpose videos into reels. 3. Brand voice- If you're using Content Agent and Content remix, you should definitely set up your Brand voice in HubSpot as well! You can upload samples of your content and writing to HubSpot to configure your brand voice, add modifiers to specify the tone and voice, and then it will be automatically applied to most content you create with AI in HubSpot. 4. Memberships. I'm mentioning this feature since you asked about private content. While memberships aren't yet supported for case studies yet, you can set up private content accessible only by certain lists/contacts in your CRM for blogs and website pages!

Is there any downside to setting up Enhanced Conversions in Hubspot and Google Ads? I haven't done it yet, and I'm wondering if there are any scenarios where it isn't worth it.
There’s honestly no downsides (many ads experts and agencies recommend, for the best results, to set up Enhanced Conversions ASAP - even if you don’t have any currently running campaigns). The only thing you would need to consider is if your organization would be comfortable with sending your contacts’ personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.) to Google for matching purposes. But even if your organization isn’t, you can choose not to send those fields.
Please let me know if this answers your question. Feel free to reach out via DM and I'm happy to connect you with our Ads Product Manager, to discuss this further.

If we want to enable the "always create new contact" to avoid leads being overwritten, but also want to utilize progressive profiling and avoid duplicates, what workarounds exist/ other measures could we put in place?
[Closed] AMA [Ask Me Anything]: HubSpot for Marketers | January 27-January 31
To enable something like this, you'd likely need to code a solution to handle this. Would you be willing to share some more info about your form and the data you're collecting so I can understand the problem leads being overwritten is causing?
[Closed] AMA [Ask Me Anything]: HubSpot for Marketers | January 27-January 31
The form inputs are pretty standard, name, email, title, company but we've had instances of people getting overwritten, so it has the old contacts name, but the new contacts email (I've heard this can happen if say a new employee is on an old employees same device or if an email gets forwarded, etc)
[Closed] AMA [Ask Me Anything]: HubSpot for Marketers | January 27-January 31
Thanks for sharing, it's true, this could potentially occur where two users work on the same device. Unfortuanately, there isn't a way around that without a custom coded solution.

Saying Content Remix summons me the same way Batman responds to the bat signal being projected into the clouds.
So, let's talk Remix and what it currently does/ what it will be able to do soon:
Remix is all about repurposing content. I like to say that it helps marketers play to their strengths. Personally, I'm great at writing long-form content, but hate drafting marketing emails and social posts (and don't even get me started on Ad copy) by hand. With Remix, I can write in-depth blog posts or essays, select them in Content Remix as my starting content, and then let AI make a first pass at drafting all of the short-form content that I need to distribute but don't like to work on. From there, it's easy to go in and make edits to that content and publish in the corresponding content type editor.
As a pro tip, always write something in the "Objective" or "Custom Instructions" fields. This is how you tell our AI what you're trying to achieve. By default, the AI we've built tends to assume you're trying to promote your starting content by repurposing it across other channels. If you're trying to do something like build topical authority or draft assets that expand upon part of the starting content, tell the AI using those attributes. A good Objective/ Custom Instructions will be clear and direct, e.g., for an ad, you may do something like "focus on the pain point of ABC for an audience of XYZ in COUNTRY."
We recently made a content type in Remix called "Freeform Prompt," which can be a secret weapon for creating content like never before. The Freeform Prompt can be used for things like ideation, refinement, or crafting types of content that aren't currently supported natively by HubSpot, like press releases. Personally, I run an online bookstore on the side and like to use the Freeform Prompt to take my articles and then add in a phase in Remix where I can have AI do commands like, "based on the article provided, identify three follow-up blog posts ideas that I could write next to continue building authority in this area. For each recommendation, include suggestions for blog post titles and books that I should incorporate into those blog posts for customers to buy."
So, that's where Remix is now, but what are some of the super powers in Remix you'll be able to unlock soon?
Remixing from multiple sources: Rather than starting your Remix from one piece of content, you'll be able to start from multiple pieces. If you have something like a blog post, marketing brief, persona overview, whitepaper, and press release about a particular topic/ product launch, you can use all of that to start your Remix.
Remix templates: marketing teams often have set processes and requirements for how they distribute content. With Remix templates, you can configure your remix (the type of content you create and the corresponding hierarchy, as well as the attributes that you've found to work well for your organization) and save that as a template so that you and your team can re-use the same pattern as much as you need.
On top of that, we have some (slightly further off, but still on the way) features to make it easier to attach your Remixed content to your Campaigns, improvements to how we handle languages, and features that make it easier to collaborate with your team members in Remix.
A lot of people set-and-forget websites once they're up and running, and maybe they use the odd landing page but they leave SEO to an agency, ads to another and Content Hub isn't top-of-mind anymore. What is the new flagship feature(s) that I can use to re-enage my customers and highlight the benefits of devoting more time and energy to Content Hub?
Did my post help answer your query? Help the community by marking it as a solution.
Great question! We launched a ton of new Content Hub features over the last year. Here are some of my favorites:
Content Remix - helps you repurpose content across channels (e.g., turn a blog post into several social posts)
Podcasts - you can now host podcasts in HubSpot! We also offer generative AI tools to help you create your first podcast.
Breeze Content Agent - lets you create high-quality, personalized blog posts, landing pages, case studies, and podcasts.
Brand Voice - configure information like your voice and tone, and we'll automatically take that information into account when creating new content using our generative AI tools.

Hello ajacks228,
I'm wondering how to differentiate Google Ads Lead Forms submissions from regular Website form submissions? Both enter into the system with the Record Source being 'Form.' It would be great if I could label them somehow so I don't have to dive into each contact to figure out where they came from.
[Closed] AMA [Ask Me Anything]: HubSpot for Marketers | January 27-January 31
Hey 👋
If you go to Marketing > Ads, click on the settings icon in the top right and then click on the lead syncing tab you should see all the ad accounts with lead ad forms. You can click on a particular Google ad account, click on one of your lead forms, and then scroll down to the bottom and you can view all the submissions that came in from that form.
When you click view submissions, you can make a list of those contacts or export those submissions.
[Closed] AMA [Ask Me Anything]: HubSpot for Marketers | January 27-January 31
Thank you for the reply. I should have been a bit more detailed in how I'd like to see these. My main entry when I log in to Hubspot is the Contacts page. I'd like to be able to set a column to be one of the fields like Entry Date, Contact Name, Email, Record Source, etc... but have a column to let me know if they submitted a lead form. I kind of found a way from a different user where it pulls data into Record Source Detail 1, and although it's just the headline of the Lead Form, that still helps... not perfect though.
