Hi Anissa,

We are struggling to track companies or contacts that view our LinkedIn activity within HubSpot.

We have multiple LinkedIn campaigns set up with the source = LinkedIn and medium = Paid. In LinkedIn it's showing companies within our HubSpot who are 'clicking' on the posts and therefore are directed to our website and should show up on the company profile as either 'Ad activity' or as a 'Page view' with the UTM correctly set up. It doesn't seem like it isn't picking this activity up at all on multiple accounts.

Do you know why this would be? How could we we best ensure that the tracking is working correctly?

Thank you!

Hi HubSpot Community,

My name is Jill. Thank you for hosting this AMA, @ajacks228

I'm interested in leveraging Marketing Hub and Content Hub to improve my marketing email strategy.

What are the best practices for using AI for crafting personalized emails? Do you have some tips for someone who is just getting started with HubSpot?

Thanks,

Jill

Hi Jill, great questions! To craft personalized emails using AI in HubSpot, I would suggest a few things:

  1. Maintaining a Consistent Tone and StyleUse our Brand Voice feature to ensure your emails maintain a consistent tone and style, which helps in building a strong brand identity by ensuring consistency across different content types, including email.
  2. A/B Testing - Use AI to run A/B tests on email subject lines, copy, and images to determine what resonates best with different segments. AI can then help you analyze the results and optimize your future emails.

For someone just getting started with HubSpot, here are some tips:

  1. Leverage Smart Content - Try adding smart content to make your emails more relevant and effective. These tools help you gather more detailed information about your contacts and tailor your emails accordingly. For example, you could create alternatives forms for visitors from a specific country.

  2. Leverage Templates and Analytics - Use our customizable email templates (drag and drop tools) to maintain your brand consistency and analyze email performance using analytics to understand what best.

  3. Start Small with Automation - Begin by automating tasks like welcome emails or follow-up sequences. For example, you can send an email to your website visitors based on a page visited.

I hope this helps as you navigate your journey with HubSpot!

Thanks for doing an AMA @ajacks228! I'd love to hear more about a big picture thing I'm thinking about. After 15 years using HubSpot and working the "inbound" strategy and philosophy, I'm reflecting on how much has changed. HubSpot as a brand has evolved from "if you build they will come" to creating great ads with Katheryn Hahn and sponsoring NPR podcasts. So I'm wondering how HubSpot the tool is helping marketers grow and evolve as consumers continue to evolve.

Multichannel, multimedia, multitouch attribution... nothing is a straight line anymore. What are y'all thinking about with this?

Thanks!

P.S. I'm curious what others are thinking through on this as well. Comments, DMs, emails... I want to collaborate and grow together!

Hey Dan, great question!

My name is Blake, and I'm the product manager for our Content Remix tool. I'm sure some other HubSpot folks will have thoughts to add here, but since my product is all-in on multi-channel strategies, I figured I'd kick us off here.

The short answer is that we are well aware that marketing has gotten more complex in recent years (or, recent months even! It's moving so quickly), and we're stepping up to that challenge. Across HubSpot, we talk a lot about tackling big, messy problems by making solutions that are simple for users to adopt.

Off the top of my head, I can highlight a few initiatives that help us tackle these challenges:

  1. Content Remix! Okay, I'm biased, but I am very happy that our teams continue investing in Remix as one solution to make omnichannel content marketing more intuitive. Work to make Remix a more collaborative workspace for teams, tie Remixed content to your campaigns, and analyze the success of the content you're creating continues to evolve– and if you or anyone else in this thread has thoughts on those areas, please feel free to reach out! I'd love to hear from more users.
  2. The playbook of effective content marketing is changing. Publishing blog posts with a content offer that leads to a landing page is still an important variable in the content marketing lifecycle, but it's not the dominant driver it once was. As audiences skew toward audio and video content, we've continued to make improvements in those areas, including things like supporting YouTube publishing on mobile and the new (and growing) podcast features we launched in Content Hub.
  3. We're also making broader bets in the AI tooling space that we're confident will help marketers navigate the messiness of the current marketing landscape. Breeze Copilot continues to expand its footprint and capabilities across the HubSpot ecosystem, and there are other projects in the works to take what Breeze Copilot, Agents, and Intelligence do well and accelerate its effects. Since I'm not on that team and not sure what's available to share publicly yet, I'll keep this bulletpoint pretty high-level.

Hey Chidi, thanks for the question!

There are a few things you can do to manage multi-channel content effectively with HubSpot. As a quick disclaimer, I'll describe some of the tactics and tools I've found to be helpful, but every organization is going to have its own processes and needs, so feel comfortable with experimenting and adapting.

  1. Data and assessing your multi-channel content performance is just as important as creating multi-channel content. Spending time building custom reports or grouping content into logical Campaigns will help you keep an eye on what's working well, what's underperforming, and where your opportunities to go bigger exist. If you create your content in siloes by channel, you may miss important insights that will help you scale.
  2. I'm biased because I'm the product manager for it, but Content Remix is another great tool for tackling multi-channel content creation. It's in Content Hub Pro and Enterprise, and it allows you to take any piece of content you've already created and repurpose it across all of your marketing channels via AI in just a few seconds. We've had users report that it cuts the time it takes them to launch campaigns in half since it gets you from blank page to first draft in an instant. It supports most major marketing channels, including landing pages, blog posts, marketing emails, social posts, ads, podcasts, and more.
  3. Also a Content Hub feature, I'd recommend setting up your Brand Voice in HubSpot as well. With Brand Voice, when you're drafting content with AI or using Breeze to help revise content you've already written, we'll have a way to understand what your brand voice and tone are supposed to be like and will generate/ edit content so that it stays on brand and aligned with your brand's identity.
