Hello Community,
I'm Irina Nica, a Product Marketer at HubSpot, joined by my colleagues Jennifer Stone, Gabe Wahhab, Jan Bogaert, and Danny Vendrell. We are thrilled to announce our upcoming AMA focusing on HubSpot's AI tools and features!
The AMA will be live for questions starting Monday, May 20th, and running through Friday, May 24th. All your queries will be answered by Friday, May 24th. Feel free to drop your questions regarding our AI tools and features in this thread. We'll be happy to provide you with detailed answers!
Unsure what to ask? Here's a snapshot of some recent AI releases you might be interested in learning more about:
This list represents just a glimpse of the latest updates. If you have questions about any of the AI features we have launched in the last year and a half, don't hesitate to ask.
Looking forward to chatting with you in the thread!
PS: If your team is already using any HubSpot AI features and you want to share your insights with the community, we would also love to hear from you.
When it comes to the AI functionality, I'm very interested from a Chatspot point of view, are there plans to have Chatspot answer queries about the database setup? I know some functionality is there and some is a part of Ops Hub, however, there are a few use cases I'd love to have quick answers to.
For example, I am always interested in whether or not there are properties that are updated by multiple workflows. I often find challenges for clients where their existing setup updates lead status from 3 different workflows. The enrolment criteria overlaps and therefore some updates get overwritten and a big mess is created. It will be helpful if there's a way to quickly identify those and help with the untangling.
Currently, within the properties section, we have "used in" and that shows in how many places a property is used. When it comes to workflows though, it will be helpful as well to know in what capacity are the properties used. For example, I would love to have Chatspot answering a question "give me a list of contact properties that are used as an enrolment trigger in workflows". This way, I might find ways to combine the workflows if that won't add complexity, or can add delays to ensure that one of the workflows runs before the other one goes through all the actions.
Also, are there plans to get Chatspot to run a sequence of commans based on a template with prompts? For example, if I was to run a quick audit of an account, let's say I have a 10-point check list. If each of those is something Chatspot can answer, will it be possible for me to save this checklist somewhere, so when I say to Chatspot "do a portal audit", it knows what that means to me and does the checks for me, and thus saves me tremendous amount of time?

Hi @elizheleva thanks for taking the time to share such detailed questions and ideas. I went ahead and forwarded this to our ChatSpot product team for their consideration.
To be quite frank, at the moment, neither of those features are in the short-term plans, but ChatSpot has been constantly evolving and improving, so we might see these in the future. By the way, have you enrolled in the ChatSpot in HubSpot beta? I'd really encourage you to check that out if you haven't already. Plus, we have our AI product roadmap available here (updated quarterly) if you want to stay up to date with our upcoming AI features. Hope this helps!

Hi @Humashankar that's a great question! there are definitely a lot of benefits to using AI translations to reach a global audience. Here are the top 5 that come to mind for me:
Making content accessible to a wider audience: AI translations can help you reach a broad, global audience easily.
Cost efficiency: AI translations can do the bulk of the work and you only need a localization specialist for fine-tuning.
Speed: They offer faster translations than if you'd do that "manually".
Scalability: AI can manage large volumes of content, suitable for large-scale marketing campaigns.
Competitive advantage: AI translations allow smaller companies, with smaller marketing budgets, to compete in an international market.

Hi @kvlschaefer that's a good question. The key principles for AI reporting equally apply to sales, marketing, and service.
Step 1: Understand the decision you are trying to make. Step 2: Make sure the data exists for the story you need to tell. Step 3: Ensure you know the audience to provide the correct level of detail.
After you establish this, you can start asking questions in the HubSpot AI report generator to get you past that first "analysis paralysis". Beyond that, you can further refine your report in the builder. This tool allows you to flesh out your narrative, adjusting and fine-tuning to craft a precise and impactful story for your audience.

Hi! Thank you for adding the AI live-chatbot beta. It is an interesting tool! I am trying to work with it, do you have any tips? I try to add knowledge base articles to feed content to the AI bot, but sometimes it doesnt give the correct answer when I test it. Do you think short articles are better, or longer detailed articles? And is it: the more the better?

Hi there! Thanks for checking out our AI Chatbot. Generally speaking, giving the chatbot as much information as possible is a good idea. Since it is set up only to use the resources you provide as its repository of information, the more information you provide, the better. This will give the AI more knowledge to pull from with more consistent and accurate answers.
P.S. You can also provide any publically available URL in addition to knowledge base articles!
Thanks for sharing the roadmap, it's exciting to see what's coming up!
Are there any long-term plans to develop a more analytical AI servce for engagements or deals? For instance, I know there's the AI Chatbot summary tool, but it would be fantastic if all activities on a deal were analysed, summarise and displayed on the deal overview tab on the deal page. This summary could include any barriers to sale mentioned or potential opportunities, such as the capability to flag key words about predetermined subjects like quotes or trials (similiar to the new call feature). This enhancement would allow sales leaders to quickly gain an overarching view of a deal while also helping individual sales agents to ensure they're staying on top of the clients requests.

Hi Irina, we love the new Content Hub AI features. What AI tool is being used as the foundation? ChatGPT (if yes, which version?), Dell-E, Eleven Labs, etc.?

Hi @maryrose1075I’m so glad you're enjoying the new Content Hub features!
We use a number of providers across our customer platform. For text generation/editing, for example, we use Open AI - GPT 3.5- Turbo.
If you want to learn more technical details about our AI tool, I recommend browsing BehindHubSpotAI.com - here you’ll find informational cards for almost every AI feature. The cards promote transparency around HubSpot’s use of AI. Hope you find this helpful!

Thank you @IrinaNica and team! Love all of the AI features that have been released and appreciate how easy you've made it to ease into incorporating AI into existing processes.
I've done some testing with the AI chatbot for Service - are there any plans to develop an AI chatbot for Sales?
If my reply answered your question please mark it as a solution to make it easier for others to find.

Hi @Jnix284thank you for your positive feedback! I’ll make sure to send the good vibes to the product team behind all of these features 🙂
Regarding your question on a Sales AI Chatbot, as it stands, we don't have plans in our near-to-mid term roadmap for this specific tool.
However, the current AI Chatbot is versatile enough to be used for answering basic sales questions. If trained on the right company data, it could answer questions about products/services offered, pricing plans, delivery options etc.
Hope this is helpful!
