This AMA will start on Thursday, November 1 at 11:00 AM EST. The team will be answering questions starting then, but feel free to start adding questions now, and the team will begin answering them on Thursday.
I'm reminded of when the HubSpot Owner property first rolled out. It was this name-email hybrid which was flat-out incompatible with the Salesforce Owner format that was synced over. The contacts team built out the property without reviewing with integrations for compatability.
Is that the kind of thing that happened here with multiple currencies re: SF? Or are there technical challenges and limitations that come with passing the currency (similar to, say, what state and country picklists attempted to solve)? If the latter, any info you can share on the challenges would be extremely helpful context.
Brad Mampe, Salesforce Analyst, Fidelity I'm probably wrong. I may not be right about that.
Ask Us Anything: Marketing Hub Enterprise Releases: Nov. 1, 2018
@bradmin, currently we are researching how it would work with HubSpot multiple currencies and Salesforce multiple currencies. There might be a fair amount of technical challenges but I think ideal situation would be that the currency tables would speak to one another. As of right now still reasearching.
Ask Us Anything: Marketing Hub Enterprise Releases: Nov. 1, 2018
On December 21st, the predictive dashboard will be removed from all HubSpot accounts. We get that.
What's not clear is if the old criteria for enabling predictive lead scoring will also no longer apply. The statement, "The new model uses HubSpot Insights datasets to supplement data within a portal to make even more accurate predictions from the very first contact added to a portal." implies that ALL contacts will receive a predictive lead score immediately. Is that correct?
Predictive lead scoring will use The Likelihood to close and Contact priority properties to display each of your contacts predictive lead score.
These properties that will be automatically filled by HubSpot and is calculated through the probability that a contact will become a customer within the next 90 days. This score is based on standard contact properties and behavior.
This score will be applied to all your HubSpot contacts. For the Contact priority property, you will need at least 100 contacts in your portal for it to be used.
Still having trouble getting clarification on weather or not HubSpot's "old criteria for enabling predictive lead scoring will also no longer apply."
The original predictive lead scoring setup criteria were clearly spelled out in a HubSpot KB article, but can't remember the precise detail. We'd love to quote the original HubSpot KB article entitled, "What do you need to build your predictive lead score?". However, that original URL (see below) is now conveniently redirected to ... well just click and see. (head shaking)
Not sure why we're redirecting old KB content so early in the transition process for new functionality when an understanding of how things USED to (currently) work frequently helps promote understanding around the new way of doing things. IMHO
Original question stands.
Note: Please search for recent posts as HubSpot evolves to be the #1 CRM platform of choice world-wide.
As for the previous criteria and now the updated tool they are separate. And with the new predictive lead scoring algorithm it will use these specific criteria to determine the Likelihood to close:
Demographic information contained in standard contact properties (custom properties arenotused in determining close probability)
Firmographic informationprovided by HubSpot Insights about the contact’s company
Firmographic information about your business and HubSpot account
Interactions logged in the HubSpot CRM, such as tracked email clicks, meetings booked, calls made, etc.
If you have a HubSpot Marketing Hub account, HubSpot will also use relevant marketing data to determine close probability for your contacts:
Web analytics data
Marketing email interactions
Form submission events
This is valuable feedback for our teams on if you would like to compare and contrast data from a previous tool and an updated tool. Thank you for passing this along and please let me know if I can answer any other predictive lead scoring questions.
