OPPORTUNITY: Sheridan College Digital Marketing Training Collaboration

The Education Partner Program is working with Sheridan College in Canada - one of our "lighthouse" partners - to promote HubSpot among its students as an excellent digital marketing tool. Students have done excellent work in the HubSpot platform while learning about digital marketing.

Sheridan College has received a research grant from Future Skills Centre’s Shock Proofing the Future of Work: Skills Innovation Challenge to develop a digital marketing training program, specifically targeting underrepresented small business owners. For more information about the project, please visit here.

The program will benefit members who are underrepresented small business owners in Canada. As part of the participation, they will receive free training in digital marketing tailored to their business with a $500 budget to use towards their digital marketing activities, which could include web development, Google ads, Facebook ads, and email marketing.

The project aims to:

  • Increase equitable, diverse and inclusive participation in small business sectors

  • Develop optimal training courses and tools to bridge digital marketing skill gaps for underrepresented small business owners
