HubSpot is the First CRM to Offer a ChatGPT Deep Research Connector

Our mission at HubSpot has always been to democratize advanced technology to help businesses grow. Now, we're helping them get even more value out of their unified data in HubSpot as the first CRM to launch a deep research connector with ChatGPT.

HubSpot today announced it is the first CRM to launch a deep research connector with ChatGPT. This groundbreaking connector helps HubSpot's 250,000+ customers apply powerful deep research to their own unified customer data and take action on the insights.

Transforming Business Intelligence with Unified Customer Data

More than 250,000 businesses rely on HubSpot as their single source of truth for customer data across marketing, sales, and service. This complete view of the customer journey gives HubSpot customers an edge, especially in an era where AI is only as powerful as the data behind it.

The HubSpot deep research connector with ChatGPT gives customers doctorate-level research capabilities powered by their customer context, allowing them to uncover opportunities for expansion, retention, conversion, and more. It's a game-changer for businesses without the time or resources to conduct deep analysis.

Real-World Applications Across Teams

With over 75% of HubSpot customers already using ChatGPT, HubSpot is making it easier than ever to bring your customer context into the HubSpot deep research connector, run multi-step research to spot opportunities, then take action on those insights, whether that's sending an email, starting an automation, or updating a deal. Teams can now ask sophisticated questions and receive instant, data-driven insights:

  • Marketers can ask “find my highest-converting cohorts from recent contacts and create a tailored nurture sequence to boost engagement” then use the insights to launchcreate an automated workflowsequence in HubSpot.
  • Sales teams can find new opportunities by asking, “segment my target companies by annual revenue, industry, and technology stack. Based on that, identify the top opportunities for enterprise expansion,” then bring them back to HubSpot for prospecting.
  • Customer success teams can say, “identify inactive companies with growth potential and generate targeted plays to re-engage and revive pipeline,” then take those actions in the Customer Success Workspace in HubSpot to drive retention.
  • Support teams can say, “analyze seasonal patterns in ticket volume by category to forecast support team staffing needs for the upcoming quarter,” and activate Breeze Customer Agent in HubSpot to handle spikes in support tickets.

HubSpot believes AI should be easy to use AND easy to trust. That's why the HubSpot deep research connector was built to ensure users only see the CRM data they’re allowed to access in HubSpot. For example, individual sales reps will only see pipeline data for deals they have permission to view. Customer data is not used for AI training in ChatGPT Team, Enterprise or Edu.

How It Works

HubSpot admins can enable the HubSpot deep research connector in minutes by turning on deep research in ChatGPT, connecting to HubSpot as a data source, and authenticating their account.

Deep research reports typically take a few minutes to complete, and customers can action them right away by clicking through the sources into HubSpot. Once enabled, customers simply toggle it on, sign in with their HubSpot credentials, and start asking questions.

Availability

The HubSpot deep research connector will automatically be available to all HubSpot customers across all tiers who have a paid ChatGPT plan (Enterprise, Team, Pro, Plus, or Edu). EU customers will need a ChatGPT Team, Enterprise, or Edu plan, and all other regions can use any paid ChatGPT plan: Enterprise, Team, Pro, Plus, or Edu. ChatGPT responds to the language used in the prompt, with all available languages here.
