Phone from LinkedIn not syncing after HS's new phone format, help!

Hi, our leads from LinkedIn ads are syncing without their phone number. I can't map the phone number from LinkedIn to Hubspot's default "phone number" property, since they have different formats.

I tried to use a workflow to copy the ad property into the contact property (which works well for us in other properties that don't map), but it's not working. Hubspot's support say it's because they added a new formatting to the phone number property and it's an issue their developers have to fix.

Is anyone experiencing something similar and has an idea for a temporary solution until Hubspot fixes this?

Could you please provide us more details on what format is being subimitted on the phone number property? Is a different area code?  The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.
