Google Paid Ads Going through as referrals

Hi, we are currently using a Hubspot hosted subdomain for a google search ad, if someone clicks off that subdomain onto our main site however the source is being registered as an ad esense "refferal" rather than "paid traffic", is there a workaround for this?

Please ensure that the tracking settings in your HubSpot account are correctly configured to capture and attribute traffic from Google ads. 

This includes verifying that the tracking codes are properly implemented on all relevant pages. 

Utilize UTM parameters in the URLs of your Google ads. UTM parameters allow you to track the source, medium, campaign, and other relevant information of your traffic accurately. Make sure that these parameters are correctly appended to the URLs of your ads.
