I would love some help as I am currently struggling with pulling my keywords and campaign name into Hubosot when I view all properties. I have followed the right steps but yet I keep getting 'Auto-tagged ppc' in original source drill-down 1 and 'content network' in original source drill-down 2. Thus there must be something inaccurate. I have used the attributes within the Google ads tracking template within Hubspot. I have added a utm within all my Google ads campaigns and a utm within the tracker in account settings. Here is the utm what I added below. Not sure if it is because we are using adwords as the source or if it is because I added both a UTM within my campaigns and within tracking under account. Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks!
Tracking under account settings {lpurl}?utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term={keyword}&utm_campaign={campaign_name}&hsa_acc=5108132758&hsa_cam={campaignid}&hsa_grp={adgroupid}&hsa_ad={creative}&hsa_src={network}&hsa_tgt={targetid}&hsa_kw={keyword}&hsa_mt={matchtype}&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_ver=3
The "auto-tagged PPC" label might be showing up due to auto-tagging being enabled in Google Ads, and HubSpot is unable to extract campaign values from Google's auto-tagged URLs. Hence, it assigns this label to ensure attribution to paid search campaigns.
I recommend revisiting your Google ad campaign settings and confirming that the tracking template aligns with the tracking parameters provided here. By doing this, we can accurately capture UTM values like "utm_campaign" and "utm_source", potentially reducing instances of the auto-tagged PPC label.
On the other hand, I recommend this article that teaches how to understand source drill-down properties.
